April 1, 2016

Excitement continues to build as time counts down to the official start of the 2016 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2016). More than 8,500 business aviation leaders, entrepreneurs and other decision makers will travel to Shanghai, China from April 12 to 14 for the premier showcase for business aviation across the Asian region.

Shanghai Ready to Welcome the World to ABACE2016

An expanded exhibit floor will greet attendees at host facility Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Centre, featuring more than 200 aviation financiers, manufacturers, service providers, legal specialists and others. More than 30 aircraft will be on static display, including single and twin-engine piston aircraft and turboprop aircraft, piston and turbine helicopters and turbine aircraft ranging from light jets to large-cabin intercontinental aircraft.

The static display on the ramp at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport also will include an expanded number of climate-controlled exhibitor chalets, where attendees may discuss the latest aircraft, products, and services with representatives from manufacturers around the globe.

Attendees will also benefit from a full slate of education sessions that reflect the growing role of business aviation for companies and entrepreneurs across China and the Asia-Pacific region. Topics will include modernization of cabin equipment and systems, and the complexities of selling a preowned aircraft on the international market.

Additional panels will offer advice for traveling outside the Asian region – including to special events such as the upcoming Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – and methods to further improve the operational safety of fixed-wing business aircraft and rotorcraft.

Co-hosted by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA), ABACE2016 is truly a can’t-miss event for the region’s expanding business aviation industry.
