Static Display Space Assignment Procedures

Learn how static display exhibit space at Hongqiao International Airport is allocated.

Space Assignment

Although it is ABACE management’s intent to place static display exhibitors in their space of choice, this may not always be possible. Static display space will be allocated based on the following priority:

Priority-One Exhibitors

Applications received by January 7, 2019, with both chalet exhibits and static display aircraft.

Priority-Two Exhibitors

Applications received by January 7, 2019, with only static display aircraft.

Priority-Three Exhibitors – Applications Received after January 7, 2019

Applications received after January 7, 2019.

Note: All placements are subjects to space availability and are determined by the size of the aircraft being displayed.

Assignment of all exhibit space is at the sole discretion of show management. Exhibitors’ locations will be based upon the overall size of the requested space, number of aircraft to be on display, size and orientation of chalets, required aircraft towing lanes, and airport operational considerations. NBAA reserves the right to change the static display layout or exhibitor’s location at any time, including prior to or during ABACE2019, if NBAA, in its sole discretion, determines that such change is in the best interest of the event.

NBAA makes every effort to accommodate each applicant’s preferred location. If all space preferences indicated by the applicant have been allocated, however, NBAA will assign the best available space.

The cost per static display space is payable to ABACE management, with no billing coming from the airport. Normal and customary aircraft landing and handling fees are the responsibility of the exhibitor or aircraft operator. These fees will be paid directly to the company providing the service.

ABACE2019 management has a policy of no refunds for transfer of funds for cancellations or downsizing at any time. Ancillary charges to support the static display exhibits will be billed directly by the vendors providing those services. Detailed information will be available in the Exhibitor Service Kit.
