Increased Number of Exhibitors Expected at ABACE2017
March 6, 2017
The number of registered exhibitors for 2017 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE2017) is nearly 5 percent above the number of exhibitors registered at this point in 2016, demonstrating the growing value of this event in the Asia-Pacific region, organizers said.
“We’re happy to see the number of exhibitors increase to almost 170 exhibitors committed so far for this year,” said Linda Peters, National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) vice president of exhibits.
“It’s a slight increase, since the number of exhibitors has remained relatively consistent at 160 to 165 over the past five years,” added Peters. “But it proves the show has staying power, and is valuable for both exhibitors and attendees as the preeminent business aviation event in Asia.”
ABACE2017, taking place April 11-13 at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, is presented in partnership with Shanghai Airport Authority (SAA), and co-hosted by NBAA and the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA).
The exhibit floor this year will showcase larger, custom designed indoor stands. Also new for 2017 is the opportunity for double and triple chalet exhibitors to use their own service provider to create and build unique interior designs.
“It will be exciting to see how chalet exhibitors design their own spaces,” said Peters. “We’re also looking forward to our newest chalet exhibitor, Honda Aircraft Company, which will have an aircraft on static display at its chalet.”
