Indoor Hangar & Exhibitor Pavilion

New for 2016! Premium Placement

This option offers exhibitors reserving indoor hangar or exhibitor pavilion space the opportunity to move to a higher priority status. To qualify for premium placement, this option must be selected on the exhibit application and full payment – on a non-refundable basis – must be received by November 6, 2015.

Raw Exhibit Space

A minimum of 36 square meters (6m-by-6m) is required to reserve raw exhibit space.

Static Display

Ramp Space   $47.50 per square meter reserved

Static display space is calculated on an aircraft-by-aircraft basis based on the aircraft length and wingspan dimensions. For exhibits featuring multiple aircraft, the space required for each aircraft (length times wingspan) should be added to determine the total amount of space required. Ancillary charges for services to support the static display exhibits, including towing, will be billed separately.

Exhibit Space Placement Process

Exhibitors reserving indoor hangar or exhibitor pavilion space, and making payments in full by the November 6, 2015, deadline, will be included in the priority draw. Exhibitors will be assigned to the appropriate priority category based on the criteria described below. During the priority draw, all exhibitors within each priority category will be randomly ordered and assigned appointment times to call into the exhibitor hotline. ABACE2015 sponsors within priority one and priority two will be assigned appointment times ahead of other exhibitors within their respective priority categories. During these calls, members of the ABACE exhibits team will discuss exhibit plans with exhibitors and will help them select their preferred exhibit location. Exhibitors who are unable to call in at their assigned appointment time can participate in their exhibit placement via proxy. Full details on the exhibit space placement process will be provided to qualifying exhibitors.

The ABACE2016 live, online exhibit space placements will take place January 13 to 15, 2016.

Priority-One Exhibitors – Premium Placement

New for 2016! Includes all exhibitors who submit their applications with payments in full by the November 6, 2015, deadline and who select the premium placement option. Priority-one exhibitors will select their exhibit space prior to all other exhibitors. Premium placement exhibitors will receive 11 badges per 3m-by-3m exhibit space reserved.

Priority-Two Exhibitors

Includes all companies who submit payments and applications prior to the November 6, 2015, but do not select the premium placement option. Priority-two exhibitors will select exhibit space after all priority-one exhibitors have been placed.

Priority-Three Exhibitors – Payments after November 6, 2015

Priority-three exhibitors are those companies whose applications and/or payments in full are received after the November 6, 2015, deadline. Priority-three exhibitors will be assigned space once priority-one and priority-two exhibitors have been placed, space permitting. Priority-three exhibitors will be placed in the order in which their applications are received.

All exhibitors eligible for the priority draw will receive:

  • Confirmation of participation in the priority draw
  • Identification of exhibitors’ priority draw category
  • Complete priority draw results
  • Details for the live, online exhibit space selection process
  • Proxy information to be used if an exhibitor is unable to call at their appointed time
  • Reminder of permissible booth configurations

Following the exhibit space placements, exhibitors will receive via email:

  • Official stand confirmations, including stand number
  • Exhibitor Dashboard login

Value Added Tax (VAT)

The Chinese Tax Authority requires that ABACE collect and remit Value Added Tax (VAT) on all ABACE prices. The VAT rate is 6.7% and will be added to exhibitors’ invoices for exhibit space. In some cases, exhibitors may be able to deduct the VAT paid to ABACE from their VAT remittance to the Chinese Tax Authority. Exhibitors are advised to consult their tax advisors for further guidance.

Fapiao

Exhibitors requiring fapiaos must advise the ABACE exhibits team prior to making payment so that billing information can be provided in RMB.
