Exhibit Options & Pricing

ABACE offers a variety of exhibit options for companies of all sizes. Review important information about pricing, discounts and payment options.

Priority for exhibits at ABACE will be given to companies displaying products or services directly related to the design, operation or servicing of business aircraft. Companies wishing to display non-aviation related services will be permitted to exhibit at ABACE and will be allocated space provided it is available after all business aviation exhibitors have been placed. ABACE Management reserves the right to deny space to any company whose products or services are not deemed appropriate for the business aviation community.

Indoor Exhibits

Indoor exhibits will be located in the exhibitor pavilion and hangar at the Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre.

Static Display of Aircraft

The ABACE2014 Static Display of Aircraft at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport will showcase the world’s finest business aircraft.

U.S. $45 per square meter

Static display spaces are calculated on an aircraft-by-aircraft basis and are based on the aircraft length and wingspan dimensions measured to the nearest hundredth meter. Exhibits featuring multiple aircraft will calculate the space required for each aircraft (length times wingspan) and combine the footprint of each aircraft to determine the total amount of space required.

Ancillary charges for services to support static display exhibits, including towing, will be billed separately. Aircraft landing fees and taxes are the responsibility of the exhibitor.

New for 2014: VAT of 6% will be added to all exhibit applications. In some cases, you may be able to deduct the VAT paid to NBAA from your VAT remittance to the Chinese Tax Authority. Please consult your tax advisor for further guidance.

Aircraft mock-ups are not permitted on the static display. Only actual aircraft are permitted.

Static display space is allocated on a space-available basis in the following order of priority:

  1. Exhibitors occupying a chalet will have their aircraft parked as close as practical to their assigned chalet location.
  2. Exhibitors occupying an indoor exhibit will have their aircraft placed as close as practical to the indoor exhibit entrance.
  3. Exhibitors with only static display exhibits will have their aircraft placed as space permits.

Chalet Space

Chalets at the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport provide exhibitors with exclusive, private meeting and reception space, conveniently location near aircraft and indoor exhibits.

Single-unit chalet U.S. $137,800
Double-unit chalet U.S. $275,600

A U.S. $2,800 discount per 10 m by 10 m chalet space reserved provided application and full payment are received on or before November 29, 2013.

Cancellation Policy

All payments for ABACE are non-refundable and non-transferable. ABACE Management considers all reductions in exhibit size as cancellations, therefore payment made for original space is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please plan accordingly when submitting an exhibit application.

If indoor exhibit space is not occupied by 15:00 on Monday, April 14, 2014, ABACE Management will consider it canceled by the exhibitor with no refund or transfer of payment, and will use such space as it deems appropriate. This rule must be strictly enforced, since lateness in setting up causes difficulties with overnight cleaning crews and jeopardizes the opening of the exhibits.
